The criteria
The ident must of of a hight quietly
The ident must be original
No copy protected music

I first research in to some different idents starting with the BBC and channel for project in an attempt to inspire me

i then look in to more international ident from asia and other parts of the world

I found this ident ver stimulating  so much so I make a test  inspired by this

i know this is a but off topic in my research  but i found this advert for Cheetos. i like how its has  very mix and match of different animation techneic in this cast traditions 2d with a bit of 3d

germen idents

I think this is one of the most original ident for tv that I have scene through my research

I then started to look at the old classic idents from the early 1970s

Group story board ideas

Within the briefth I was to asked to work within a group

The group memeber i will be working in as followed

Perri Wheeler
Stefan Wade
jerome John
and of course me Russell Pointer :P

We discuss on ideas of what we could do for a project group e4 project

We then decided should do an e4 ident with the use of stop motion in it. The reason from this is that it would be a good idea to use the medium of stop motion due to the fact the other members of our course are all doing computer animation with Maya.

JOB TITLES for the group

The leader of the group /Perri
Background artist Jerome
Compositor Russell
Stefan Wade modeler

Perri did a storyboard idea winch we all like and agreed on

HOW DO WE MAKE A CLAY NORTH PLOE

I frist research in to how Pingu was made its was sergusted  by my tutors

I found this brilliant behind the scen of Pingu but sadly its in Swedish. however its is very visually informative so we just worked from the pictures

The group decided to nick some the productions ideas of from. we followed the  documentary to see if we could make life easier for our selfs

 Pingu
I was first given the task to model the igloo for the set i started with a polystyrene basses and them modeled clay around it base. I the made a brick model

I then made all the brick individually and placed then around the igloo

After nearly completing the sets we where working out how the best way to

We used the software called dragon which was used for the film Coraline

Post Productions

We didn't make the eyes for the penguins out of clay the reason for this was that they mixed up with the white to the point where the eyes would be grey so we decided  to put them in digital

I was then given the task to import eyes on to penguins and the green screen for each penguin

The first  i had the main footage to work from (warning sound is very loud please mute your mic for safety of your ears )

Within making the eyes i made a circle i simple made a circle mask and key frame it around the penguins for each frame

I then clean up the green background with keylight that i learn from the post production project last term

I then put the sky in that was make by stefan
